The Christian Education Commission of FECC draws children and youth into a journey of faith prepares them for a lifelong discipleship and inspires them to carry the love of Christ to Fairmont and the world.
Children’s Ministries
Save the Date: VBS this year will be June 7 - 10 from 5 - 7:30.
Join us for Sunday School every Sunday at 10:30 am during the school year. Kids will learn more about being like Jesus and bringing others to him.
Every Christmas we do a Program reminding them and the congregation about the importance of Christmas.
We will do an Easter Egg Hunt after our Easter Church service for kids age 0-12.
Summer Camps - Children in grades 1st-12th grades have the opportunity to meet with God in the beauty of His creation at either Lake Beauty Bible Camp or Covenant Park Bible Camp. Summer camps provide a transformative environment with positive role models, helping campers build lasting friendships and deepen their faith away from daily distractions
Youth Ministries
Youth Group (Fantastic 4z: Food, Fun, Family, Faith): Every Wednesday from 5:30 - 7:30 teens from 6th - 12th grade meet to share food, play games, and learn more about Jesus and what it means to walk with the Holy Spirit. Through these shared experiences we become a family. Garage Sale: We will be doing a fundraiser for our youth again this year in the fall.
Easter Brunch: Our youth put on an annual Easter Breakfast before our Easter Service. Free will donation is encouraged and all funds go toward camp scholarships or youth missions. Breakfast is served from 8 am to 9 am. Then join us for service at 9.
Adult Sunday School meets throughout the school year. There are five sessions of Adult Sunday School typically with two options each session. Some recent studies include Lead by Paul David Tripp and Tame Your Thoughts by Max Lucado. Adult classes take a break over the summer. Retreats: Women’s and Men’s retreats are offered every year to just unwind and slow down so we can listen to God.
Adult Ministries
Bible Studies: We have several Bible studies going on throughout the year. Currently running are:
Peanut Butter Gang - Meets every Friday at 9:30 am. Currently reading Discerning the Voice of God by Priscilla Shirer.
Multiply - Meets Friday at 6 pm. Study is covering the book Multiply by Francis Chan and Mark Beuving.
Hunger for Healing: Is a 12-step recovery program for all those looking for healing. Meets every Wednesday at 6 pm.
All bible studies meet at FECC.
